ACC 550 - Professional Internal Auditing This course examines the principles of internal auditing as an independent objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization’s operations. Topics include enterprise risk management (ERM); internal control frameworks, such as COSO and CObiT’ governance; preliminary surveys; audit programs; audit reports; and operational audits.

Prerequisites - (ACC 240 and ACC 241 ) or ACC 501 Restriction by Major - Restriction by Degree Type -
Notes - Not open for students with credit in ACC 450 Internal Auditing. Students who do not meet prerequisites may request department permission to enroll in the course, enrollment not guaranteed.
