AFC 603 - Capstone Internship Seminar in Africology & AAS The course is designed as a practicum by which students of the Applied Master of Arts in Africology and African American Studies can acquire a practical experience of either an African American organization or any organization that serves a diverse clientele. The seminar must be taken while a student is in an internship program. Involving an advanced and critical survey of major coping strategies typically deployed by racial and ethnic minority communities of the United States, the seminar is designed to help prepare the master’s degree students for effective functioning in their future places of work.
