COSC 245 - Computer Programming and Numeric Methods An introductory programming course focusing on numerical algorithms fundamental to scientific computer work. Discussion of polynomial interpolation, numerical integration, solutions of systems of equations and error analysis. Using the FORTRAN language, students develop and run programs to solve a variety of problems.
