MET 211 - Statics


This course is an applied and analytical study of structural components in static equilibrium with emphasis on engineering applications. Topics include force resultants, moments, trusses, frames, centroids and moments of inertia.

Credit 3 hrs Normal (A-F)
May not be repeated for additional credit

Course Rotation: Fall and Winter

Prerequisites - (PHY 221 with a “C-” or higher  or PHY 223 with a “C-” or higher ) and (MATH 120 MATH 140 , or Level 6 Math Placement )
