RDNG 311 - Teaching Reading in the Secondary School


The developmental sequence for reading skills at the junior and senior high school levels and methods for teaching the sequence, including teaching programs for all students. Providing reading instruction within the context of the various areas. Required for all students who seek certification to teach in secondary schools.

Credit 3 hrs Normal (A-F)
May not be repeated for additional credit

Course Rotation: Fall and Winter

Prerequisites - CURR 305 , ARTE 358 , PHED 302 , BMMT 251 , MUED 330 , MUED 332 , or ETWE 350  
Other Restrictions - Initial Teacher Preparation Program admission is required for enrollment in this course.
