AFC 501 - Foundational Issues in Africology and African American Studies This course provides an advanced examination of theoretical and conceptual issues that form the epistemological foundation of Africology and African American studies. It investigates key studies, scholars, and theories in the field. Readings and discussions pay close attention to the relationship between theory and empirical research and their applications to contemporary social issues.
