HIST 589 - The United States from 1963 to the Present A study of United States history from the presidency of Lyndon B. Johnson to the present. The course covers national government and politics, foreign policy and social history of the American people. The Great Society; Vietnam War; protest movements of the 1960s; Nixon administration and Watergate; economic, social and cultural trends of the 1970s and 1980s; the conservative resurgence; and the Reagan Revolution and its aftermath are among topics that receive special attention.
Credit 3 hrs Normal (A-F) May not be repeated for additional credit
