HIST 505 - Historical Methods This course encompasses training in research strategies appropriate to a variety of historical resources, as well as instruction in the skills necessary for communicating the results of such research. A workshop approach offers discrete units in library and archive investigation, demographic and cartographic techniques, and oral and local history, culminating in a research paper.
