HIST 540 - History of Detroit History of Detroit from 1701 to the present, examining relations among economic, social and demographic characteristics in each major era. The use of primary sources and field visits to metropolitan Detroit sites will reinforce a major point of analysis, causes of change over time and the effects of those changes.
