LITR 590 - Special Topics Topics will be announced from time to time. The following are examples of topics offered in recent years: Caribbean literature, short story, literature of the civil rights movement, postmodern theory. Not more than six hours of special topics courses may be applied toward the degree.
Credit 1 hr Normal (A-F) May be repeated for additional credit (provided topics are different)
Course Rotation - variable
Prerequisites - 15 credit hours in literature; further prerequisites may be required for some topics. Other Restrictions - Restriction by Major - Children’s Literature, Creative Writing, English Studies for Teachers, English Linguistics, Literature, Written Communication Restriction by Degree Type - Graduate standing
