PSY 683 - Field Practicum with Seminar Students participate in an organized health care setting for at least 250 clock hours in 16-20 hour weekly increments. The practicum experience is supervised by a fully licensed clinical psychologist on a regular, continuous, and scheduled basis at least two hours weekly. Students pursuing the BCBA are also supervised by a licensed behavior analyst in accordance with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board requirements for each level of field placement intensity. Class meetings are utilized to discuss unique and common professional issues related to the practicum placements and to practice case conceptualization, presentation, and constructive critique skills. Students will also consult with the instructor independently as needed for instruction concerning more singular professional training needs.
