RDNG 531 - Word Study for the Reading Teacher Using language theory as a basis, students will explore the various aspects of word study: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, dictionary skills and spelling. Using literature and other texts, they will develop techniques/strategies for teaching word study in grades K-12.
