STAT 502 - Introductory Statistics for Graduate Students Statistics basics, organizing data, descriptive measures, probability distribution of discrete random variables, the normal distribution, estimation and hypothesis testing, chi-square procedure, linear regression analysis, and reading and evaluating journal articles. A statistical software package will be used.
