EDLD 633 - History of American Higher Education The study of higher education demands the understanding of historical context. The knowledge of history provides an understanding of the shape of present experience. The course will examine historical needs in higher education that have affected students, faculty, staff and trustees in terms of traditions, customs, values and practice.
