ESLN 514 - Graduate ESL Reading Students respond to rhetorical techniques and structures used by academic and professional writers to achieve their purposes. Students build academic and discipline-specific vocabulary and learn how to comprehend complex grammar used in academic texts. Students engage in academic research and critical analysis, synthesis and response to graduate-level readings from students’ disciplines.
