EDPS 340 - Introduction to Assessment and Evaluation


Basic principles of evaluation and assessment. Students will construct and interpret tests and alternative assessments for secondary students (grades 6-12), explore standardized testing, assess social, cultural, affective and behavioral issues related to assessment, and examine other assessment issues. 

Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit
Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Fall and Winter

Prerequisites - EDPS 222  and (CURR 304  or CURR 305 , May be taken concurrently) 
Other Restrictions - Initial Teacher Preparation Program admission is required for enrollment in this course.
