PHED 200 - Anatomy and Physiology The purpose of this course is to provide students with an introduction to the principles of human anatomy and physiology, which focuses on important functions and the makeup of the human body. This course will provide a better understanding of the anatomical and physiological processes necessary for physical education-related careers. This lecture course is supplemented by demonstrations and on-line labs focusing on the structure and functions of the body systems, such as the muscular, skeletal, digestive, urinary, respiratory, cardiovascular systems.
