SPNH 423 - Hispanic Linguistics Introduction of the core components of Spanish linguistics, including the sound system (phonetics and phonology), word formation (morphology), the formation of phrases and sentences (syntax), the use of the language to convey meaning (semantics and pragmatics), the history of the language and regional and social varieties of Spanish.
