This course is expected to complement the lecture content in BIO 120, which covers plant and animal systems. This is an inquiry-oriented laboratory that uses lab exercises to introduce students to appropriate methods of data collection and analysis. There will be an emphasis on scientific communication. Students will be expected to present results and conclusions in the form of written scientific reports and oral presentations. These will also require the reading, interpretation, and incorporation of primary scientific literature.
