IT 101 - Introduction to Information Technology and Assurance This course provides a broad introductory understanding of information technology concepts related to the fundamentals of information technology; the history of the computer; hardware and software components of PC; operating systems; mobile tools, apps, devices, and web technologies. The course designed for learning the skillset of contemporary application software. The impact of technology such as digital security, privacy, and ethical issues of using computer technology are discussed. The aim is to provide foundations to serve as the basis for further study in the field.
