Through this participation and supplemental lectures, discussions, video viewings, students will learn how to critically view their own Jazz performances and those of others. Students will also learn codified Jazz vocabulary, learn how to embody that vocabulary kinesthetically, and learn how to creatively and critically problem-solve with Jazz movement, Students will also learn the history of the art form.
