MATH 319 Mathematical Modeling The modeling process; model building and evaluation, techniques of modeling; model fitting and models requiring optimization; empirical model construction — experimental models, dimensional analysis, simulation models, dynamic models; use of derivatives in the modeling process, single and multivariable dynamic models.
