CHEM 315 Green Chemistry and the Environment for Elementary Teachers This course will provide prospective elementary teachers with an overview of the principles of green chemistry and sustainability. Students will apply fundamental chemistry concepts to such issues as renewable energy, climate change, water resource management, and environmental pollution. An emphasis will be placed on how “green” concepts can be incorporated into an elementary classroom.
