SPNH 420 Introduction to Translation Students will learn basic theories, techniques and processes of translation. They will undertake written exercises on all aspects of translation and will also translate sample documents from various professional fields, from English into Spanish and Spanish into English. The professional subject matter will change each time the course is offered. In Spanish
Credit 3 hrs May be repeated for additional credit, total credits not to exceed 9 hrs Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Fall (odd yrs.)
Prerequisites - SPNH 343L5 , SPNH 344L5 , and SPNH 443W Other Restrictions - Department Permission is required Restriction by Major - Restriction by Class - Undergraduate standing
Additional Information - Students who do not meet prerequisite requirements may request department permission to enroll in the course.
