SPGN 360 Teaching the Exceptional Learner in the Inclusive Classroom This course focuses on knowledge and skills basic to the education of exceptional learners (students with disabilities as well as gifted and talented) in the inclusive general education classroom. Topics include historical/international perspectives, exceptional learner profiles, evidence-based curriculums, effective instructional methods/strategies, academic behavior management, understanding and implementing IEPs, and lesson modifications/classroom accommodations.
Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional Credit Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Fall
