BIO 495 Biology Field Experience: SCUBA in Marine Ecosystems This class provides students with a field-based learning environment outside of Michigan. During this trip, we experience a variety of marine, shoreline and aquatic communities, and students will have opportunities to observe and identify local flora and fauna. Activities will include scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. Students will learn about marine, shoreline, and aquatic communities as well as the identification of local flora and fauna.

Prerequisites - (BIO 433 with a “C” or better , may take concurrently) and (PEGN 348L1 with a “C” or better , may take concurrently) Other Restrictions - Department Permission is required Restriction by Major - Restriction by Class - Undergraduate standing
Additional Information - Students who obtain SCUBA certification before enrollment may request a prerequisite override for PEGN 348L1, from the instructor.
