BIO 496 Biology Field Experience: Terrestrial Ecology in the Tropics This course is an introduction to the natural history and environmental challenges of tropical terrestrial ecosystems. A focus of this intensive field course is the ecology of tropical forests and how these fragile ecosystems are under pressure from an expanding human population and resource extraction.
