NURS 500 Advanced Pathophysiology This course provides advanced knowledge of normal physiology and advanced pathophysiology across the adult life span from young adult to the geriatric patient from a system-focused approach with a focus on mechanisms of disease processes resulting in clinical manifestations. The student will interpret changes in normal function that result in signs and symptoms indicative of illness and in assessing an individual’s response to treatment across the adult life span.
