NURS 606 Advanced Practice Nursing Role Development This course provides students with an in-depth understanding of the roles development of an Advanced Practice Nurse with specific emphasis on the role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist and the Nurse Practitioner. Concepts include the historical, political, legal, social and ethical aspects of Advanced Practice Nursing. One of the primary aims of this course is to assist the student to begin the socialization process into the new role of MSN.
