ENVI 125L2 Contaminants in Groundwater [GELB] One-third of Americans rely on groundwater for drinking, and ensuring this water source is free of contaminants is vital. Students will apply chemistry, biology, and geology principles in this course to explore contaminated groundwater issues. Students will learn field-based water sampling and testing methods to conduct a community outreach event involving basic chemical analyses of residential well water to determine human health risks.
