EM 670 Design for Manufacture and Assembly This course investigates the management of product and process design activities. It is intended for anyone involved in product design, manufacturing engineering, process engineering or manufacturing management. The course investigates design for manufacturing and assembly, quality function deployment, value analysis, failure modes and effects analysis, error/mistake proofing, team dynamics and design for “X.”
