GHPR 696 Preserving Marginalized Heritage


Study of (research, seminar discussion, site investigations) and engagement with communities with vitally important but less-often-told heritage preservation stories. The topics covered vary with each offering but will be selected from recording, preserving, and interpreting the heritage of marginalized groups (those historically excluded by class, race, ethnicity, and gender and sexual identity, among others) and/or topics that are less regarded by preservationists (working-class dwellings, intangible heritage, etc.).

Credit 3 hrs May be repeated for additional credit (provided topics are different), total credits not to exceed 6 hrs
