LITR 520 Old English Poetry A study of Old English prosodic conventions, with a close reading of representative poems from various types and schools of Old English poetry. Readings are in Old English. This course is typically offered every third academic year.
Credit 3 hrs Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Once per year (in-person, occasionally hybrid, or online)
Prerequisites - (LITR 510 , May be taken concurrently), LING 506 , and (15 additional credit hours in literature at the 500-level or above (LITR)) Restriction by Major - English Language and Literature Graduate Programs Restriction by Degree Type - Graduate standing
