LITR 565 Studies in 19th Century British Fiction Specialized study of selected English novelists of the 19th century. Novelists studied may include Austen, Scott, Disraeli, the Brontes, Gaskell, Thackeray, Dickens, Eliot, Trollope, Meredith, Hardy, and others. This course is typically offered once per academic year.
