MATH 560 Introduction to Optimization Theory An introduction to various aspects of optimization theory, including linear and nonlinear programming, primal dual methods, calculus of variations, optimal control theory, sensitivity analysis and numerical methods. Completion of courses in linear algebra and multivariable calculus is assumed.
