MATH 566 Modeling in Bioinformatics Coverage of modeling process in restriction mapping, map assembly, DNA arrays and genome rearrangements. Also covers hidden Markov models and data mining models. Completion of a course in calculus and a course in statistics as well as some knowledge of computer programming is assumed.
