ORPR 515 Lower Extremity Prosthetics I Causes of lower limb amputation and its prosthetic management are presented. The effects of amputation level and the biomechanical constraints that different prosthetic designs impose on patients are examined. There is a significant laboratory component to this course, involving the assessment, fabrication, and fitting of Trans-tibial prostheses.
