EDUC 592 Teaching Internship Student teaching is the capstone experience for teacher candidates. It affords an opportunity to apply the knowledge base developed through coursework, melding theory with practice. Student Teachers are placed in a school setting where they will work with a Cooperating Teacher who will help them learn teaching while teaching. There will be many opportunities to develop and refine teaching skills through observation and direct classroom experience.
