PHIL 581 Philosophy of Life Sciences This course will focus on philosophical issues relevant to one or more of the following topic areas: the concepts and methods of the Life Science (Biology, Psychology. etc.), the biological possibility of altruism, the nature of selection, whether there are psychological laws, the nature of empathy, the reducibility of mental phenomena, and the nature of justification in the Life Sciences.
