PHIL 525 Theories of Justice This is an advanced course in political philosophy, Its central question is, How must a society be internally-ordered if it is to be just? Various theories of justice will be critically examined, possibly, including liberal egalitarianism, utilitarianism, libertarianism, socialism, and communitarianism. The course may also incorporate an historical or global perspective.
