FRNH 521 Introduction to French Interpretation Introductory course in consecutive dialogue interpreting for the professions. Compare modes of expression and introduce theoretical aspects and practical techniques of interpreting using simulations. Students interpret from English into French and French into English. Various professional areas are included (business, tourism, office etiquette, etc.). Students also do a field project and write a research paper on an aspect of interpreting.
