FRNH 520 Introduction to Translation (French/English - English/French) Students will learn basic translation theory and its techniques and process. They will undertake written exercises on all aspects of translation and will also translate sample documents from various professional field from English into French and French into English. The professional subject matter will change each time the course is offered.
Credit 3 hrs May be repeated for additional credit, total credits not to exceed 6 hrs Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Irregular Schedule (in-person/hybrid, hyflex, or online)
Prerequisites - FRNH 343 , FRNH 344 , and (FRNH 443 , May be taken concurrently) Restriction by Major - Restriction by Degree Type - Masters standing
