EM 531 Engineering Management Analysis An introduction of probability and statistics, and their use in engineering management. Includes Mathematical modeling, quantitative aspects of manufacturing processes and their relations to resources and budget constraints, market forces, and technological innovation. Topics covered include probability distributions, sampling distributions, estimation and confidence intervals for parameters of statical distributions, hypothesis testing, design and analysis of variance for single and multiple-factor experiments, regression analysis, estimation and confidence intervals for parameters of non-statistical models, and statical quality control.
