MATH 520 Real Analysis I A rigorous introduction to the foundations of calculus: real numbers, elementary topology of the real line, sequences and series, limits, continuity, uniform continuity, differentiation, Riemann integration. Completion of two semesters of calculus and experience in writing proofs is assumed.
