HIST 524 The United States from 1917 to 1941 A study of United States history from World War I through U.S. entry into World War II. The course covers foreign affairs, national government and politics, economic developments and social trends. World War I, modernization and cultural conflict of the 1920s and the Great Depression, and New Deal of the 1930s receive special attention.
