FRNH 511 Introduction to French Linguistics


Introduction to the major components of French linguistics, including phonology (sound System), morphology (word formation), semantics (meaning), syntax (the arrangement of words and phrases to create well-formed sentences in a language) and sociolinguistics (the descriptive study of the effect of any and all aspects of society).
