AFC 544 African Caribbean Worldviews The course provides a foundational introduction to theory, history, film, and literature from the region that is thought of as the Caribbean. Through a study of the theory that emerges from the region as well as its cultural production, students will come away from the course with an understanding of some of the major issues facing the Caribbean region historically and contemporarily.
