AD3D 504 Metalsmithing The course uses the media of metal and related materials to communicate ideas. Students work on pieces of adornment (jewelry), small sculptures and/or utilitarian items. This course applies the vocabulary of art to the understanding of metalsmithing in critiques of personal and professional work. Students will learn to work with a myriad of tools, focus on details, and the strict sequential process needed for success in this media.
