AD3D 502 Fibers In this graduate-level course, students will expand and refine their knowledge and practice relating to the creation of contemporary Fibers. The techniques and skills used will be explored through the creation and understanding of traditional and digital applications to surface design, weaving, and dyeing, to three-dimensional fibers. These techniques will be explored through the creation of contemporary fiber projects. All graduate-level work will be created using concept-driven work as they pertain to an individual body of work. Topics and techniques may vary; which may include, but are not limited to, dyeing, screen-printing, silk painting, weaving, embellishment applications, and constructed fiber forms.
