HIST 562 The Atlantic World A historical study of the peoples, cultures, and exchanges in the Atlantic Rim from the Age of Exploration to the abolition of slavery. Themes such as contact, trade, slavery, empire, and revolution will be examined in a comparative framework. Historiography will be emphasized.
